SÜPRSEED is seeking an experienced, passionate, and talented Program Director

As a Program Director at SÜPRSEED, you will bring a nourished future to life by employing multifaceted strategies. You will handle every aspect of executing 14 programs occurring both in the community and in the office. You will play a key role in shaping the success and expansion of a nonprofit startup while engineering smooth operations.

The Role

You will work with the Executive Director to create and carry out the organization’s health and wellness related goals. Developing, producing, budgeting, implementing, and evaluating our public programs are your responsibilities. You will develop and manage guidelines and policies to keep us compliant with funder reporting requests and stewardship. This includes monitoring the effectiveness of our programs and making adjustments as needed. 

Human resource duties, such as the recruitment and training of employees as we expand, fall under the director’s list of responsibilities. You carry all this out in cooperation with the Executive Director and Program Assistant. 

You will work in tandem with the Executive Director to secure donations and grants to meet the budgetary requirements of each department. You should be  comfortable managing a $800k+ annual budget. A strong fundraiser, you develop and maintain key donor and grantor relationships. You attend community events to build and maintain positive relationships. 

The Director of Programs must be creative and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, and community oriented. You have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities, and you handle confidential matters with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree in relevant discipline (Non-profit Management, Organizational Psychology, other relevant programs) and/or MBA
  • 2+ years experience in a management or similar role
  • Experience in government grant reporting is a plus
  • Versed in historical movements, food justice, and historic injustices in America.
